JONATHAN

INTERNATIONAL EVENT COMPANY

JONATHAN REEVES, PRINCIPAL AND FOUNDER

As opening Director of Catering at the Four Seasons Los Angeles in April of 1987, Jonathan embarked on an exciting career of planning, organizing and producing events that quickly became the standard of entertaining in Beverly Hills. Through his hard work, attention to detail and professionalism, the Four Seasons hotel soon became a premiere venue for weddings and social events of every kind. Entertainment, corporate and fundraising events immediately followed. Jonathan was instrumental in ensuring the hotel install a dedicated kosher kitchen in which to serve the needs of the local community. Eleven years and many events later, Jonathan accepted the position of Director of Catering and Conference Services at the newly renovated Beverly Hills Hotel. He diligently worked at bringing the overall guest experience to new heights by restoring the level of service and quality of food. In August of 2000, Jonathan entered the world of private event planning. He focused on weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, birthday parties and corporate events held at varied locations including private homes, country clubs, beaches, historical venues and hotels. In April of 2007, Jonathan opened International Event Company, a premiere event planning company specializing in weddings, including destination weddings.

JENNIFER NEWMARK, EVENT PRODUCER

Jennifer brings to International Event Company over eighteen years of catering and event producing experience, having spent five years in the San Francisco market, ten years at the Beverly Hills Hotel and three years at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Her career includes numerous weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, fundraisers, galas and corporate retreats. Her dedication, amazing organizational skills and calm demeanor ensures a flawless event for each client and their guests.

Jennifer holds an associate arts degree in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy, San Francisco. Her passion for planning and love of food and beverage helps to create an event that is thoughtfully orchestrated and carefully curated to reflect each host’s special dreams and desires.

AMY SCHUSTER, EVENT PRODUCER

Amy first joined the hospitality industry in 2011 working as a wedding coordinator for a Los Angeles event company. In 2012, she moved to Denver to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Hospitality Management from the University of Denver. While living there, she joined the Four Seasons Denver team in Food and Beverage and would later move on as Food and Beverage Manager working at the Four Seasons Dallas, Four Seasons Jackson Hole, and the Beverly Wilshire.

During her time at the Beverly Wilshire, she transitioned to the Catering Department as a Conference Services Manager, where she created and directed group conferences, gala dinners, and professional sports teams events. Eventually Amy moved to the Four Seasons Westlake Village, also as a Conference Services Manager, where she planned weeks-long events for international make-up companies, banks, law firms, non-profit fundraisers, sports events, and custom media retreats. After nearly seven years with the Four Seasons, Amy left to bring her design skills, warm demeanor, and attention to detail to the team at International Event Company, focusing on both social and corporate events.

MARI TSUCHIYAMA, EVENT PRODUCER AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

After working in the catering department of the Beverly Hills Hotel for four years, Mari joined International Event Company in May of 2007. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, her first job experiences were in customer relations, which eventually lead her to move to Los Angeles. Mari’s excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, combined with the ability to work well under pressure make her an extraordinary member of the team.

Throughout the years at International Event Company, Mari has assisted in the planning of countless events from weddings to corporate galas. She is a vital resource in the coordination of printed items, such as invitations, as well as detailing the event with clients to create a memorable day for everyone.

ASHLEY AUSTIN, EVENT COORDINATOR

Ashley began her hospitality career seven years ago when she joined the Four Seasons Westlake Village. She worked at the Front Desk and, eventually, moved to the Catering Department as an Administrative Assistant. Once there, she quickly became a Catering Coordinator, focusing on intimate weddings, birthdays, and corporate meetings. While at the Four Seasons, Ashley built a reputation for her ability to connect with clients, keen eye for details, and creativity in making each event unique.

She is excited to bring her skills to collaborate with her co-workers at International Event Company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications in Non-Profit Business from the University of Channel Islands.
